Hoosier City Among 'Revolution' Finalists
WABASH -
An Indiana city is a finalist in a national revitalization competition. The winner of Minnesota-based Deluxe Corp.'s Small Business Revolution program will receive $500,000 for development efforts.
Wabash and Silverton, Oregon were selected from nearly 10,000 nominations from small towns representing all 50 states. The company says Wabash has "taken a hit from urban sprawl," which has drawn businesses away from downtown. It says the $500,000 infusion could help "re-illuminate Wabash as a shining destination for tourists and residents alike."
Deluxe provides services for small businesses and financial institutions including website development, email marketing, social media and search engine optimization. The company launched the Small Business Revolution last year as part of its 100th anniversary celebration. It is asking the public to vote on their favorite finalist.
