MBA program mixes Saturday classes with online classwork

The Professional MBA, formerly the accelerated MBA, is designed for working adults who want to advance in their careers by completing an internationally-accredited IU MBA degree in less than 12 months.

Classes include a mixture of traditional classroom courses which meet weekly on Saturday, along with online interactions that students complete on their own schedule.

“In the past, students came to campus on Friday night and most of Saturday every week, but that schedule was challenging for busy professionals” said Cigdem Gurgur, MBA program director. “By using online technology and remote classwork, we’re helping our students get the IU degree they want, delivered in a way that better meets their needs.”

MBA+ focuses on business analytics, finance

IPFW’s MBA+ program results in the same internationally-accredited IU degree, but is tailored for students who wish to explore either business analytics or finance.

This allows students to specialize their degree, which enhances learning and the degree’s applicability.

The MBA+ classes meet Monday through Thursday in the evening, allowing working professionals to take advantage of the program.

Both MBA programs cover topics such as risk analytics, corporate financial risk management, capital budgeting, price optimization, and asset valuation.

Application deadline June 3

The application deadline for both programs has been extended from May 15 to June 3 to allow interested students an opportunity to attend an open house prior to submitting an application.
