The LaGrange County Economic Development Corp. is getting set for the second round of the LaGrange County Business Accelerator Program. The program aims to assist existing businesses and startups in growing their operations.

The program includes a 10-week curriculum focusing on creating a business model, understanding the elements of operation, understanding the financial components needed to fund operations and articulating the businesses' vision. The program also assists those seeking bank financing or investor funding by creating a business plan and presentation deck.

The program launched as a pilot project in January. LaGrange County EDC Chief Executive Officer Ryne Krock told Inside INdiana Business then, "Our goal is for each business to use the knowledge and insights gained during this program to move their operations to the next level."

The accelerator is scheduled to begin at the end of the month and will run through early September. Those interested in taking part in the program and submit an application at the LaGrange County Economic Development Corp.'s website
