MorphoTrust Opening Larger Fort Wayne Office
FORT WAYNE -
A Massachusetts-based drivers license provider will showcase its new office Tuesday morning in Fort Wayne. MorphoTrust USA has invested $6 million into a larger space and plans to add up to 20 jobs by 2019.
The MorphoTrust announcement first came in December along with more than a dozen other employers laying out hiring plans in the state. In all, the companies were pledging close to 650 new Hoosier jobs.
MorphoTrust also has offices in Tennessee, Washington, D.C., Minnesota, Illinois and Iowa, providing services to 42 state motor vehicle agencies, including Indiana. The new Fort Wayne center of excellence for customer support will have room for more than 100 full-time workers. It provides technical help desk support, software engineering and supply chain management services.
Chief Executive Officer Bob Eckel says "we are pleased to continue our decades long commitment to Fort Wayne by opening this new office and having our outstanding team of professionals provide excellent customer service to both Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and our other state motor vehicle customers."
The company has a presence in Indiana that includes a total of 70 fingerprint enrollment services locations for the U.S. Transportation Security Administration's PreCheck Program.
Attendees expected at this morning's grand opening include Eckel, Greater Fort Wayne Inc., CEO Eric Doden and Fort Wayne Deputy Mayor Karl Bandemer.
