North Anthony block party to be Sept. 9
The North Anthony Corridor Group will host its fifth block party Sunday, Sept. 9th. Food vendors from local corridor businesses will be on site along with popular local food trucks and a beer tent provided by Old Crown. Kid and family friendly activities include, carnival games, a bubble artist, firetruck tours, bounce houses, face painting, roving performance artists, and an artist marketplace. GreendogGoods will host the Fort Wayne Pitbull Coalition again this year and ProFed Credit Union will be hosting special kid friendly activities in their parking lot along St. Joe River Drive. Wooden Nickel Music will host local bands Dirty Comp’ny, Adam Baker and the Heartache, The Kickbacks, and Jacob’s Well.
This free and family friendly event is open to all and runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. along North Anthony Boulevard between Crescent Avenue and St. Joe River Drive. The event is sponsored by Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School, Parkview Health Randallia, ProFed Credit Union, 3 Rivers Credit Union, Beth Crook, State Farm Agent, Ivy Tech Community College Northeast, Concordia Lutheran High School, Longe Optical, St. Jude Church and School, Belmont Beverage, and A Party Apart.
