Huntington-based Incipio Devices LLC says it will invest more than $7 million to expand its manufacturing and research operations. The orthopedic device company plans to add more than 20 new jobs over the next three years.

The company says the expansion will also retain 27 existing positions. Incipio has offices in Huntington and Switzerland, working in commercial products, contract manufacturing and contract development in the orthopedic industry.

President Troy Johnson says Huntington has been a "great place to do business" and have been supportive of the company, adding, "It's how economic development should be done."

Huntington County Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Mark Wickersham calls the expansion an example of a local entrepreneur investing in their hometown, saying the Johnson family has been "a fixture of leadership in the Huntington business community for years."
