Parkview hospitals make Best Places to Work list

Parkview Health announced that four of its hospitals have been identified as some of the best places to work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group. The four hospitals to make the list were: Parkview Huntington Hospital, Parkview Noble Hospital, Parkview Wabash Hospital and Parkview Whitley Hospital, which includes Parkview Warsaw.
In order to be considered for the list, the Best Companies Group has a number of prerequisites. The competing companies must have a facility in Indiana, be a privately or publicly held business, have at least 15 employees and be in business for at least one year.
The evaluation process for the list, according to Parkview, includes an assessment of each organizaiton’s workplace policies and philosophies. Employee satisfaction was also taken into account by the Best Companies Group, who distributed surveys to employees asking them about their experiences working with their current employers.
The finalized standings have not been determined yet and will be announced at an awards dinner in May.
“We are honored to have several of our hospitals named among the state’s best employers,” said Mike Packnett, president and CEO of Parkview Health. “We are fortunate to have outstanding leaders at all our hospitals and facilities throughout the region. Those leaders and their teams have created a culture that truly values co-worker engagement, world-class teamwork and a dedication to excellence, and I have no doubt those principles led to this honor.”
