FORT WAYNE -

Officials will break ground Wednesday on the new Parkview Physicians Group Northeast Clinic in Fort Wayne. Parkview Health says the facility will improve work flows and serve as a pilot location for testing building plans and technology.

Parkview Health Chief Executive Officer Mike Packnett and Chief Operating Officer Mark Kadlec will be on hand for the ground breaking. The ceremony is slated to begin at noon.

Parkview Health is currently in the midst of construction for its $80 million Parkview Cancer Institute in Fort Wayne. The 125,000 square-foot facility is expected to open by the end of 2017. The health system also recently celebrated the opening of its new Warsaw Hospital.
