Road to One Million Kick-off Celebration free and open to the public

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – To celebrate Northeast Indiana’s $42 million in Regional Cities funding, the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership and Greater Fort Wayne Inc. are hosting a Road to One Million Kick-Off Celebration event, presented by Barrett McNagny, from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21 at the Grand Wayne Center, 120 W. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne. The event is free and open to the public.

The Kick-off Celebration will feature live music from the West Central Quartet, food, cash bar and a champagne toast sponsored by Lake City Bank.

In addition to the toast, guests 21 and older can also enter to win regional door prize packages from all 11 counties. Prizes include various regional experience packages including entertainment, dinner and overnight accommodations throughout Northeast Indiana. There will also be a free gift for the first 500 guests.

“As a region we know that hard work goes a long way. We’ve proven it. Now we want to celebrate it. In Northeast Indiana, we view every individual as an important part of the community, which is why Barrett McNagny is sponsoring this free public celebration. By partnering to celebrate the Road to One Million plan, we are strengthening our community and working together to build a bigger and brighter future,” said Tom Niezer, partner at Barrett McNagny.

The event will include short remarks about next steps from John Sampson, president and CEO of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership.
